Biome
The Little Brown Bat lives in a terrestrial biome. This means that they can live in deserts, savannas, grasslands, forests, and mountains. They mostly live in caves.
Ecosystem/Niche/Trophic Level
This organism is a very essential animal in our world, because they control the number of insects in an environment. Bats, in general, are also capable of pollinating and spreading seeds. Their guano is also very rich in nutrients that can be very helpful to other organisms in caves, like the Alabama cave fish. The Little Brown Bat is a secondary consumer since it eats insects (which eats plants).
Interspecific and Intraspecific interactions
This organism has great relationships with other bats, and can create a colony. They can compete for space, but it is not too common. The organism does compete with other nocturnal animals, however, and it hunts for insects during the night. They usually succeed since they are very trained in hunting (with their echolocation) and are very fast.
